This blog was inspired by Benjamin Franklin’s 1727 creation of the Junto, a club devoted to the open exchange of knowledge and ideas for the betterment of society. I created this blog to bring together critical thinkers and impassioned people from Upstate New York to engage in positive meaningful debate for the enhancement of our local economy and society.
You've heard that "Freedom to assemble" is a Constitutional Right... right? This is what freedom of assembly looks like in the United States. Thank God we don't live in some oppressive country where our basic liberties aren't protected! Is this the Democracy we are fighting to protect overseas? I welcome your comments.

yikes. i'm afraid to make a comment. won't they be able to trace who i am and what i say?
the video had a good commment: "why didn't we fight back? Why didn't we have baseball bats?"
so how do we do anything unless we have a majority that has the strength and power to make change happen?
otherwise it's a form of suicide to stick your neck out and fight against the powerful opposition.
so what do we do?
